The Leather

Shell Cordovan is regarded as one of the finest leathers in the world. It comes from the butt cheeks of a horse and takes tanneries at least 6 months to produce. Cordovan has a tight grain and very dense pore structure which makes it extremly durable, and naturally water resistant.
